Gymnastics Athlete – Jonathan Horton

Jonathan Alan Horton, born December 31, 1985 in Houston, Texas, is an American gymnast. He is a six-time medalist at the U.S. Championships and is a member of the bronze medal winning U.S. team at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

Since winning the junior national title in 2003, Horton has developed into one of the top American gymnasts. He won back-to-back American Cup titles in 2006 and 2007. In September 2007, Horton finished fourth at Worlds, just missing a medal but still establishing himself as a legitimate Beijing all-around threat. In 2008 Beijing Olypics, he helped his team propel to a bronze medal.

Horton, competing for the University of Oklahoma, has won a school-record five NCAA titles, including the 2006 all-around crown. In 2007, he won individual titles on his best events: high-bar and floor exercise.

As a child, Horton often displayed fearlessness, whether it was riding an electric garage door all the way the top, climbing a pole to the ceiling at a Target store or doing back flips on his parents’ bed. Now, he’s a self-proclaimed fast driver and is into anything that “gives me a rush.” Nicknamed “X-Games,” Horton is known for his daring high bar routine.

In the future, Horton would like to open his own training facility, become a stuntman or work for USA Gymnastics.

Gustavo Gianetti, born May 21, 1979, in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, is a Brazilian model and part time actor, best known for winning the Mister World competition in 2003.

Gianetti studied law at the University of Juiz de Fora. His
ambition is to someday be an International tax lawyer.

After winning Mister World, Gianetti’s landed numerous modeling and acting jobs, appearing in major print editorials and in several television programmes.

Born on the 3rd of June 1977 in Spokane, Washington (USA), Jan-Michael Gambill current resides in Colbert, Washington. Son of Chuck and Diane Gambill, and older brother to Torrey Gambill, the No. 21 tennis player turned pro in 2000. With a big interest in the big cats that he has adopted at his charity, Gambill has been playing tennis for years, or more specifically, since the age of five. The tennis player plays right handed and wears Adidas clothing while being on the court. Known for turning his seat away from his opponents at matches, Jan-Michael has also been known for having quite a temper while playing the sport but eventually settling himself down.

In Seattle, Washington, when Gambill was only nine years old, he won his first tournament at the Boeing Tennis Center. Eight years later in 1994, when Jan-Michael was seventeen years of age, he was ranked the “Top Juniors Player”. Gabriel Garro, born 1986, in San Jose, Costa Rica, is a Costa Rican model, best known as a semifinalist at the Manhunt International 2006 representing Costa Rica.

Garro was raised in the town of Pavas in San Jose. He is currently a model and is a 3rd year student of Business Administration. He has also worked at compaines involving marketing, e-marketing, software development, e-business, and customer service which led him to develop some experience in what he is studying, “That experience let me put in practice the theory I have studied at the university that later on in my life will turn me into a successful general manager of an important company.”

Gregory Capra, born in 1985 in France, is a French model and personal trainer, best known as the cover model of Tetu Magazine (Voyage series, Spring 2007 edition.)

Capra has been a sportsman since his youth, seen not only in the physical pursuits of his schooldays in different disciplines but also over the three years when he was earning his Bachelor’s degree in Sciences et Techniques des Activités Physiques et Sportives (the Science and Techniques of Physical and Sporting Activities.)

Among the specialisations he practised were football, athletics, motocross, judo, sailing, climbing, judo and other martial arts like viet vo doa, karate, wrestling, jujitsu, and freefight for fun.

For the last three years, Capra has dedicated himself solely to bodybuilding and to running. This is not just for aesthetic aims, but also for the formation of a robust and healthy body and for building a good psychological foundation. Freestyle Swimming Athlete – Johan Kenkhuis

Johan Kenkhuis, born May 7, 1980 in Vriezenveen, is an Olympic medal winning Dutch swimmer.

From a young age, Kenkhuis had a strong interest in swimming. In 1998, he won gold medals in both the 100 meter and 200 meter freestyle events in the European Junior Championships.

At the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia, Johan was a member of the bronze medal 2×400 meter freestyle relay team. He also helped the Netherlands win a silver medal at the FINA World Championships in Fukuoka, Japan in 2001 as a member of the 1×400 meter freestyle relay team.

In the 2004 Olympic Games, Johan was a member of the Dutch Olympic swim team. As the starting swimmer in the 1×400 meter freestyle relay, alongside Pieter van den Hoogenband, Mitja Zastrow, and Klaas-Erik Zwering he played a critical role in securing a silver medal in the event.

Johan is currently living in Amsterdam where he is a member of De Dolfijn SPAX swim club but trains with XLence Swimteam. He is working on a degree in commercial economics at Johan Cruyff University.

Gabriel Zadok Everett, born in 1986, in Tulsa Oklahoma, is an American model.

Everett entered the world of modeling at the tender age of 15 when he joined his best friend and his younger sister to a model search. His exposure ended up getting two agencies interested in him, namely, “Click Model Management” and “Major Models”.

His first big shoot was an editorial for “BMM” in Milan, Italy in 2001. A few years later, Everett garnered a worldwide audience when he became the subject of the arresting images of renowned photographer Lope Navo. Soon after, he became the favorite of photographers Maurizio Montani; Rick Day; Sean Watters; Todd Killen.

Besides modeling, Everett is also an aspiring photographer. He’s always been fascinated by life and inspired by creativity in several forms. “I got my first camera and started shooting my sophmore year in college. Having worked with some amazing photographers as a model, has been so great for my own photography and has really sped up the learning process.”

Everett says his courageous, sarcastic, loving. During his spare time, he loves sports especially basketball. He says, ” I turn into a completely different person when I am on the basketball court,people are shocked by it”. He adds that he’s very competitive and hate to lose at anything he takes seriously.
