Caio de Castro Castanheira, or simply Caio Castro, born 1988, in São Paulo, is a Brazilian actor.

Castro is the new “it” young actor of 2009 and is poised to be one of the next huge TV stars in Brazil.

His boyish looks, beautiful smile and acting talents were quickly in demand by the time he reached his early teens. By 2008, he landed his big break when he secured the role of Bruno in the hugely popular Brazilian soap “Malhação”, and he signed the contract on his 18th birthday, it is safe to say that the last thing this modest young man felt was surprise.

In addition, Castro has appeared in several editorials including “Todateen”.

For fun, Castro enjoys hanging out on the beach where you could see him sunbathing, swimming and surfing — which is his number one hobby.

Young American Actor – Brad Renfro

A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, Brad was raised by his grandmother Joanne Renfro following his parents’ divorce when Brad was 6 years old. He broke into movies at age 10 when he impressed an audience member during a D.A.R.E. skit (he was playing a drug dealer).

This person recommended Renfro to a talent scout who was holding (in June 1993) a national open casting call for a boy to play character Mark Sway in Joel Schumacher’s ‘The Client’ (1994).

Brad, who had no training and no real acting experience, won the part and found himself working opposite big stars Tommy Lee Jones and Susan Sarandon. Though such stellar company may have been daunting to others, Renfro held his own and earned very positive reviews for his performance.

From then on, Renfro steadily established himself as a fine young dramatic actor. He played a new kid in town who befriends and decides to find a cure for an AIDS afflicted boy in ‘The Cure’ (1995). The film earned him “Hollywood Reporter’s Young Star Award” in 1995. Same year he portrayed Huckleberry Finn in ‘Tom And Huck’ and next year, in 1996, essayed an abused boy (Brad Pitt played him as a vengeful adult) in ‘Sleepers’.

Since 1996 Brad’s career has continued to expand, he has starred in movies like ‘Telling Lies In America’ (1997), ‘Apt Pupil’ (1998), ‘Bully’, ‘Ghost World’ (both 2001), ‘Deuces Wild’ and others. In 2003 Brad made an appearance in N*E*R*D’s video ‘Provider’.

Lately Brad has been more focused on music and his band Frodad has been playing around in Los Angeles. Frodad is recording their first album and US tour should follow soon too.

Korean Actor – Bae Yong Jun

Korean actor Bae Yong Jun was born on August 29, 1972. He is also known as the abbreviated BYJ to many of his loyal fans, or as Yon-sama in Japan.

Born in Mapo-gu, Seoul, to Bae Yung, Song Ki-Ok, he was educated in the in Il-mun Preschool and Myung-il Elementary School. In his school days, Bae was a very quiet boy with few friends. He eventually went to study in Baejae Middle School and the Hanyoung High School. He has a sister, Bae Eun-Chuk.

After graduating from the FTM (Film, TV & Multimeadia) department in the school of arts in the Sungkyunkwan University, Bae later went onto his film debut in PpilKu in 1994. He later went on to star in dramas like Salut D’Armour and Six Steps to Separation in late 1994 and 1995 respectively.

However, it was not until he starred as Jae-Ho in True To Love when he made his first breakthrough. But Bae, being ambitious in venturing out in his acting business, acted out in dramas of better quality like Hotelier.

In 2002, Bae truly managed to expand his acting business to Japan. Winter Sonata, despite the fact that it was a TV drama and not a movie, razed all of Japan with as much as 80% of the country watching it. This popularity really gave both Bae and his co-star Choi Ji-woo a chance to shift their main stage from Korea to Japan. Other Korean movies and dramas also became quite popular following the fever.

Bae also managed to get a deeper foothold into the Japanese and South-east asian market after he starred in the movie Untold Scandal as Jo Won. However, due to the fact that there are several strong sexual scenes in the movie, the public appeal from the public was not as great as Winter Sonata.

After making a tour to Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Phuket in 2004, Bae released his biography during his hysterical 4 1/2-day tour in Japan, where The Image: Volume 1 to commemorate his 10th year of his acting career.

Since 2004, he has been the spokesman for the Japanese pizza chain Pizza-La.

Bobby Cannavale, born 3 May 1971 in Union City, New Jersey, USA, is an American actor.

Of Italian – Cuban heritage, Cannavale began his acting career in the theater – with no official acting training – and gained early film roles in Night Falls on Manhattan (1997) and The Bone Collector (1999), Cannavale became well-known when he starred as Bobby Caffey for two seasons on Third Watch. Following this, in 2001, he starred with Alan Arkin in 100 Centre Street – which was written and directed by Sidney Lumet, his father-in-law.

In 2002, he joined the cast of Ally McBeal for the last five episodes but the show was then cancelled. Following this, he starred with Yancey Arias and Sheryl Lee in the miniseries Kingpin.

In 2004 and 2005, he had a recurring guest role in the sixth and seventh seasons of Will and Grace as Vince D’Angelo, the first long-term boyfriend for Will (Eric McCormack) portrayed on the show, a move that many fans saw as long overdue.

He has also appeared in the films The Guru (2002), Shall We Dance (2004) and Romance & Cigarettes (2005), and guest starred in Sex and the City, Oz, Law & Order – and its spin-off series Criminal Intent and SVU.

From 1994 to 2003, Cannavale was married to Jenny Lumet, Sidney Lumet’s daughter and Lena Horne’s grand-daughter. They have one son, Jacob.

Ben Freeman, born April 8, 1980, is an English actor well known for his part in ITV’s Emmerdale as Scott Windsor.

The first member of his family to forge an acting career, he got his first taste of the limelight when he took a part-time acting course over a school holiday and was spotted by an agent, who signed him up. “I’m very laid-back, so I didn’t go out and say I’m going to be an actor,” he explains. “I was just ushered into that world.”

Freeman auditioned for many roles before getting his lucky break playing Chris Longworth in Grange Hill. Then, when Emmerdale decided to recast the character almost two years ago, he won the role of hunky, womanising Scott.

Freeman may be endearingly unstarry about fame, but one thing guaranteed to get him talking animatedly is cars. “I love being able to control something that goes very fast, my dream car is a Bugatti. I love the way they’re made and their innovative design. But as they cost anything up to £lmillion, I’ll probably never have one.”

Australian Actor – Blair McDonough

Blair McDonough, born 30 April 1981, in Sydney, is an Australian actor who is best known for playing the role of Stuart Parker in the Australian TV soap opera Neighbours.

McDonough shot to fame in 2001, when he finished runner-up in the inaugural season of the reality TV series Big Brother Australia.

McDonough spent much of his childhood living in Singapore, where his parents were working, where he was educated at Tanglin Trust School and the United World College of South East Asia. He later moved to Australia and finished his schooling at Eltham College of Education in Research, Victoria.

In 2001, McDonough was a university student and amateur Australian rules football player, before he became a contestant in the first season of Big Brother Australia. He finished runner-up in the show, and generated a cult following.

A few months after Big Brother concluded, McDonough was cast in the long-running Australian soap opera Neighbours, in the role of Stuart Parker.

In 2002, McDonough was named one of the ’25 Most Beautiful People’ in the Australian publication Who magazine.

In late 2005, McDonough announced he would be leaving Neighbours to seek work in London. He made his final appearance in Neighbours on April 5, 2006, in episode 4938, titled “Stu For The Road”.

He played the role of Dan in a West End play called The Vegemite Tales from July till October 2006. As a side project, Blair competed in soccer trials to represent a celebrity football team in England in Sky One’s The Match during October 2006.

Australian-Filipino Actor Bobby Morley

Boby Morley, born on December 20, 1984, in Kyneton, Victoria, Australia, is an Australian-Filipino actor, best known for his role as Drew Curtis on the Australian drama series “Home and Away.”

Morley went to school in Kneyton, a small country town in Victoria where he did drama all the way through to Year 11, until he was kicked out! “I was a bit of a brat,” he says with a grin. “I’d turn up to class and not have done the homework, but I’d perform and I’d get away with it. I was drama captain of the senior school but I was probably the worst academic student in drama department, so they didn’t really want me to be an example to other students.”

After graduating from high school, Morley did half a year of geological engineering before deciding to get back into acting and pursue it as a professional career. He started a degree in Creative Arts at La Trobe University in Melbourne, secured himself an agent and started doing extra classes.

Prior to Home and Away, Morley had several roles on the stage (Falling to Perfect, Tale From Vienna Woods), in short films (The Couple) and features (Dead Harvest), until a part in the new Australian play Angels with Dirty Faces bought about a meeting with Home and Away’s casting agents, and the chance to audition for Drew arose.

The easy-going actor is the youngest of four kids, with two sisters and one brother. He has his mother to thank for his dark curly hair and deep brown eyes – she’s from the Philippines.

Outside of acting, Bobby loves the challenge of rock-climbing, dabbles at playing guitar and loves catching a soccer or footy match – he follows the Collingwood magpies.

“I’ve watched his first few eps and he’s got something very special,” commented script producer Daniel Bennett a few weeks after Bobby started filming. “We’ve been plotting him for six months now and there isn’t a week that goes by that he doesn’t have a lot to do. The audience will be very invested in him – we certainly are.”

Brett Chukerman, born August 1, 1981, in Chicago, Illinois, is an American actor, perhaps best known for playing Marc in the romantic comedy “Eating Out 2: Sloppy Seconds.”

Chukerman’s first acting role came when he was only 18, when he starred in MTV’s “Undressed” playing Scott in the episode “Three’s a Crowd.”

At 19, Chukerman landed a role in the low-budget thriller “Dead 7” as Harley. This then followed by a few more independent films such as “Return to Innocence (2001)”, “Boys to Men (2001),” and “Crush (2000).”

Chukerman got his big break when he landed the part of Marc in the high-profile gay romantic comedy “Eating Out 2” and has a major fan following. Furthermore, he appeared in another gay-themed movie “The Curiosity of Chance” as Levi.

Though Chukerman is straight, he has played many gay roles and is very comfortable playing it, that led many people to believe he’s gay.
