Jeffrey Beck
Jeffrey Beck, born in 1981, in Cedar City, Souther Utah, is an American fitness model.
Beck graduated from Cedar City High School in 1999 and began college at Southern Utah University that same year. After bouncing around from major to major for a few years, he decided to get certified in personal training. It was then that I realized what he really wanted to do with my life: help people better their lives through fitness.
In 2000, Beck entered and won my first bodybuilding competition. My title was the Utah Cup Teenage Overall Bodybuilding Champion. From there, he competed in several local shows and internationally on the Musclemania circuit.
Beck became a fitness model in 2003 after he competed at a bodybuilding competition in Redondo Beach, California. He was 22 at the time and met with a few photographers. He says he never really had an aspiration to be a model. It just sort of happened.
Now for his second passion: basketball. Beck LOVES NBA Basketball! If basketball was a subject in school, he would definitely be the nerdy kid. He knows every team, every player, every stat, who was drafted when and where, everything! He professed that he has followed the game ever since I was about 7 years old and I still follow it religiously.
His main code that he lives by is to learn to laugh at yourself. Beck advised, “Don’t take yourself too seriously. Have a sense of humor because nobody likes to be around a person who never smiles or laughs. I also don’t believe in judging people. After all, God is the only one who has the right to do that. Just be yourself and be proud of who you are.”
