Jason Powell is the founder of Star Fitness Houston. He holds degrees in both Exercise Physiology and Kinesiology while maintaining numerous certifications in fitness, strength training, sports performance, rehabilitation, nutritional counseling, and takes continuing education very seriously. His 14 years as a professional in fitness and strength conditioning has proven to be effective tools in helping all kinds of people achieve their personal goals. He gained tremendous leadership qualities while in the United States Air Force. He has also studied the martial arts for over 20 years. He has proven to be an effective role model in leading clients and friends towards their life goals.
Jason is an accomplished 100% drug free competitive bodybuilder, fitness model and an expert in the martial arts. He has helped people achieve their fitness goals from general fitness to professional athletes. Jason has coached high school varsity football, trained world-class cyclists and tri-athletes, and trained bodybuilding and fitness competitors of all levels. He mostly enjoys helping motivated people clearly define their health and fitness goals and then achieve lasting change through proper exercise and nutrition.
