The Cute Teen James Reid

Krissy and Ericka’s remake of M2M’s Don’t Say You Love Me is one of my favorite songs now and in the video is this cute teenager who turned to be James Reid, a previous winner of the Teen edition of the local Big Brother.  That’s all I know about him for now because I don’t think he has any high-profile appearances in any of the local shows, or maybe because I don’t watch the local shows very much, so I wouldn’t really know.  Anyhow, the other winners of the Teen edition of PBB went on to have real careers so he should become more famous soon, if given the right project.

Swooning Over JM de Guzman

While the whole audience was swooning over Toni Gonzaga and John Lloyd in My Amnesia Girl, my friend and I noticed this cute moreno guy who was part of John Lloyd’s circle of friends.  We learned later that his name is JM de Guzman.

OMG, not another JM in my life!  But he does look cute in this movie and my friend and I were always waiting for him to appear on the screen and in each of his scenes, we were making comments that the director should’ve made changes on the camera angles so that JM could be included in scenes where John Lloyd had to make some monologues.

Yup, he does take off his shirt here and yeah, he has that lean, moreno body which Toni’s character takes photos off!  He has those nice, expressive eyes too so for him to stand out in John Lloyd’s tropa here, which included veteran hotties, Carlos Agassi and Joross Gamboa, is quite an achievement!
Well, he has two new fans now so we hope to see him in more movies!

I was watching Myx OPM Countdown this morning and Yeng Constantino’s new video came out and there’s this incredibly cute guy in it.  Turned out to be Ivan Dorschner, a contestant in a reality show here.  Since I don’t really follow reality TV shows, it’s only now that I learn about him.  He’s so cute and he’s hot shirtless!  Yum yum!!

Idris Elba: The Hot Hunk

The movie, Obsessed, which stars Beyonce is a forgettable movie but the man these two gorgeous women are fighting over is hot himself!  His name is Idris Elba and he’s a hulking guy with a nice broad chest and a winning smile.  His character is actually innocent throughout the movie and it’s one of the women who is the conniving bitch in this one.  I’m surprised Idris hasn’t appeared yet in any bigger Hollywood movie – he’s hot!

TV HUNK: Haaz Sleiman

He’s the hot, gay nurse in Nurse Jackie’s hospital and he handles his tit and tat with Jackie pretty well.  They call him ‘Mo-mo’, quite affectionately.  I enjoy watching his character.  He’s tough and he enjoys watching the eye candy in the hospital. I have not seen any episode though where he’s really flirted with a guy.  Although he is supposed to have had a gay kiss with Peter Facinelli’s character Dr. Coop!

Gregori Baquet

Ces deux hommes jouaient compagnons d’appartement et amis dans le 2004 film, Grande Ecole.  Le personnage de Gregori est amoreux du personnage de Jocelyn.  Je ne lui reproche pas!  Jocelyn est tres mignon!  Je voudrais toucher son corps, nu, comme quoi Gregori a fait dans le film.  Gregori est mignon aussi donc c’est mon fantaisie d’avoir les deux hommes dans mon lit!!

Garrett Hedlund-The Hunk in Tron

I just watched Tron today and the actor playing the son of Jeff Bridges’ character is another up-and-coming actor named Garrett Hedlund.  He is really perfect for the role – tall, lean and scruffy-looking!  They had to be lean since most of the cast was asked to wear an almost swimsuit style of Lycra clothing where there is almost no way for a ‘fatter’ actor to hide all the unwanted bulges!  He also had that suitable daredevil look and that devil-may-care attitude, which is important in depicting his character to the audience.  I’ve seen that Garrett also stars in the Gwyneth Paltrow film, Country Strong, so his star should slowly rise this year – after these two high profile appearances.

Gabriel Basso

Tonight, I watched The Big C for the first time and I am not surprised that Laura Linney has been winning awards for her role there.  Well, the one playing her son is Gabriel Basso and he has an interesting role here because he is in that stage where boys are becoming interested in girls.  And what timing he has, his mother is sick with the Big C!  What happens next, I will have to wait since the show airs in Diva here in the Philippines every Thursday.  I think Gabriel is cute as a button and fits the role really well.

Felix Rivera

Felix Rivera plays a very crucial role in the musical Next to Normal.  Believe me, in one of his final scenes, you are going to cry (I almost did!  I was just holding it back since I was in the front seat!!)  It really pays to have good actors play important roles, otherwise, the play will not reach its climax.  That scene involves him and Jett Pangan, and both of them are fabulous in it.  Sob, sob, sob talaga!  He does get to take off his shirt in this musical, in the first scene and it’s very quick so you have to keep your eyes wide open.  With guys like him in local theatre, the future is well and secure!
