TV HUNKS- Nathan Corddry

I watch United States of Tara on HBO every Tuesday morning at the ungodly hour of 5AM (don’t ask me why!)  Now, I am already at the part where the daughter of Tara is working in a restaurant and is already dating and making out with his boss!  In the series, it is played by Nathan Corddry, who is as cute as a button.  However, in the series, to me, he looks like someone with an agenda, and someone who is not forthright in telling Tara’s daughter who he really is.  So in a way, I distrust his character, although, he is actually, really cute.  In the series, Tara’s daughter and Nathan’s character have already made out, although they never showed it.  I’m not too sure though if I want to see him shirtless, but it would be interesting how he looks like, naked!

Morris Chestnut

There are some really hot African-Americans and one of them is this actor whom I’ve seen in this movie tonight in HBO – Not Easily Broken.  His name is Morris Chestnut and I’ve seen him in several Hollywood movies but I never really featured him here.  His character is so stolid and has simple wants, unlike the character played by his wife, who wanted more in life. Anyhow, I do not really see him without a shirt, in this movie, and that’s too bad!  He looks fine!

Micky Ward

I rarely feature athletes in this blog but after I saw the movie, The Fighter, I found it imperative that the story of the boxer, Micky Ward, who is the central figure in the movie, find his own space in my haven of hunks.  The movie has gone on to get its share of Oscar nominations in 2011.

As of now, it’s the most nominated movie in the 2011 Golden Globe Awards.  A talented boxer, Micky had to fly under the radar of his more flamboyant brother, and in this riveting drama, the conflict of loyalty to family and that pursuit of that elusive dream play out.  Mark Wahlberg does a good job portraying Mickey, and although I had a hard time watching the boxing scenes, I think they were authentic enough to show how Micky fought and the techniques he used in subduing his opponents.

I am currently watching Why Did I Get Married in Star Movies and among the four couples there, the standout hunk is Michael Jai White.  Isn’t he fine?  I rarely feature African-Americans hunks here since they don’t have that many mainstream movies or TV shows but once in a while, there’s a hot African-American hunk worthy to be featured here!

Matthew Rhys

I’ve always been a fan of Matthew Rhys.  I first saw him as the gay friend of Brittany Murphy’s character in ‘Love and Other Disasters’.  He was so adorable in that movie!  I was really rooting for his character.  I was then very happy to discover him play Kevin, one of the five children in the drama series, Brothers and Sisters.  His love interests in the series are very cute and he does get to marry one of them.  I actually like his character very much since it’s kinda ironic, a lawyer who cannot express his emotions to the guys he loves properly.  Sounds like me, really!  I still have to see this episode where he appears shirtless. I guess I blinked when this was shown on our cable TV.  So glad I have the complete DVD series of this show.  I have to find this episode!

Matthew Morrison

I’m not really a full-blown Gleek but I watch the show from time to time.  The casting of the show is really great and I think their choice of choosing Matthew Morrison as the Glee adviser was a good call.  Not only does he look good, he can also carry a mean tune!

Matthew Del Negro

Matthew Del Negro plays the husband to be of Tara’s sister in the series – United States of Tara.  He’s tall and has nice eyes and is really in love with Rosemarie De Witt’s character!  And he’s not even the father of the baby she’s carrying!  If I were in his character’s shoes, I would’ve bolted out of there pronto!  Anyway, let’s see if his character stays on for the long haul!

TV Hunk: Matt Czuchry

He’s the cute young lawyer in this series but he has not yet been given a major plot push that would really make his character important.  He has assisted Juliana Margulies’ character several times but he has not been given enough court time to really matter.  Such a pity really, as he could be a very good ploy to distract the women and gay men in the jury.  Hope his character takes a fuller shape in the next season to come!

Martin Jickain: The Sexy Chef

I’m currently channel-surfing and I chance upon this local TV show called Pop Talk where, for tonight’s show, they were asking three different people, what they thought of some restaurants here in Manila.  Well, I didn’t care for the restaurants, I was just ogling the cute guy who was one of the members of the panel.  Turned out that guy was Martin Jickain!  He looks fantastic!  I remember seeing him in that New Manila church years ago with Aiko, but he still looks great now!  Turns out he’s now Chef Martin Jickain.  As to where he cooks and what he cooks doesn’t matter to me.  He alone, is ulam na!
