Bee Vang
I have always been a fan of the movies of Clint Eastwood and today, I watched his opus, ‘Gran Torino’. In that movie, there is a cute Hmong actor, named Bee Vang. The movie includes several Hmong characters and talks about gang violence in Detroit. Anyway, the character of Bee Vang befriends the character of Clint and they form a friendship that will lead to Clint saving Bee’s family from the feared gangs. It’s a sad story with an uplifting ending and I did cry in the end!
