Tron: Legacy Dazzles

I don’t really go for sci-fi movies much, but I was delighted with what I saw in Tron: Legacy movie today!  I actually enjoyed it a lot!  Dazzling is just one of the things I find it to be.  The production design is impressive and the costume and make-up, though not ground-breaking, was just enough to convey to us that this was the world of digital gaming and this was their world.  I just found the movie a tad long, maybe they could’ve lopped of 20 minutes of it to make it tighter and keep everything going, but still, there are many scenes there that I did not see in the trailer – which really made me sit up and watch.  As usual, like any father-son dichotomy, I am all ears and a bit emotional with those scenes up on the big screen, and it’s great that they got a respected character actor in Jeff Bridges to play the lead title role.  I love the action sequences and the costumes and yeah, the music is perfect!  No wonder the soundtrack of this movie is already in the US Top 10!

HOLLYWOOD CELEBRITY- Hugh Dancy

I am watching ‘Confessions of A Shopaholic’ now on cable and Hugh Dancy, Isla Fisher’s love interest in the movie, is hot!  I’ve rarely seen British men this debonaire, but he fits the bill perfectly.  I found this picture of him online and he looks so peaceful asleep.  What things I would do to him this way.  This should be his picture after I do bad things to him!

This guy is going to be the next Superman.  I don’t know if that would be good for his career, since the last Superman, went nowhere.  I do watch the Tudors but I don’t exactly remember where he was there.  His name is Henry Cavill.

Gaspard Ulliel

French films don’t normally reach the Philippines, but sometimes we get lucky, to have a French actor do Hollywood movies.  This very cute French actor, Gaspard Ulliel, starred in A Very Long Engagement and in Hannibal Rising, which both got shown here in Manila.  Isn’t he just adorable to look at?  I hope he does more Hollywood movies though, or at least, some high-profile French movie that gets shown here.

Gabriel Macht

I am currently watching the first season of Sex and the City and I discover one of the cuter hunks introduced in it, Gabriel Macht!  He does look older now, but the twinkle in his eyes are still there – and yeah. he still looks hot.

In his episode, Gabriel’s character is a ‘modeliser’ – someone who only dates and sleeps with models.  Lucky models!  And he videotapes the acts with these women – as mementos! Shades of Hayden Kho!

I just watched ‘The Ugly Truth’ and Katherine Heigl’s character’s former boyfriend is the hot Eric Winter, who is the lover of my favorite character in ‘Brothers and Sisters’!!  He takes off his shirt in this movie, and does too in that TV series.
