Diego Serrano, born in Quito, Ecuador, on February 5, 1973, is an actor.

Serrano has appeared on The Young and the Restless as Diego Guttierez (2001-2003) and the long-running, defunct soap opera, Another World as Tomas Rivera (1993-1997).

During Serrano’s childhood, he ironically did not watch television but rather played soccer. At 18, he won a “Star Search” (1983) modeling contest, and soon after started playing Tomas on “Another World” (1964). His big break came in 1999, when he starred alongside star Jennifer Love Hewitt on the Fox television series “Time of Your Life” (1999). The show garnered him plenty of attention, and he landed a role on another American soap opera on The Young and the Restless as Diego.

His other credits include Only in Miami (2006); F8 (2006); Kurtlar vadisi – Irak (2006) and has appeared in the 2005 gay-themed film The Mostly Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Green playing Kyle Underhill, a professional baseball player who comes out as gay and authors an autobiography.

During his spare time, Serrano enjoys playing golf, bike riding, hiking and dancing.

The Chinese media refer to Aaron Kwok, Jacky Cheung, Andy Lau and Leon Lai as the Cantopop Four Great Heavenly Kings . He is also called as “Hong Kong Michael Jackson” because of his excellent dancing ability.

Aaron shaved his head for his 2005 concert, and his new image surprised a lot of the audiences. “The Aaron Kwok Mega Hits Live In Concert 2005 Chapter II” got great reviews from the audiences and the media, due to Aaron’s amazing performance and fabulous clothing.

Aaron was a dancer before he started his music career. He first gained recognition by the public in Taiwan for a TV advertisement. Soon after, in 1990, his debut album “the love for you will never end” was released in Taiwan. This album was sold more than 500,000 records in both Taiwan and Hong Kong.

The song “the love for you will never end” was the biggest hit in the early 90’s. The success of his first album made him one of the famous singers in Hong Kong, earning him the title of one of the Four Heavenly Kings in the Chinese music industry.

Dieter Brummer, born May 5, 1976, in Sydney, is an Australian actor of German descent.

Brummer first role came at the tender age of 16, when he was cast to play Shane Parrish on the Australian television soap opera “Home and Away” from 1992 to 1996, which he won two Logie awards for Most Popular Actor in 1995 and 1996.

Thereafter, Brummer appeared in the hospital drama “Medivac” and the pay-TV series ‘Shark Bay’ (1996); and the short-lived Crash Palace (2001) on FOX8. In addition, he guest starred in “The Man from Snowy River” TV series in 1996, as a policeman.

Tearful Roddick bows out, Djokovic into last eight

NEW YORK – Tearful Andy Roddick said goodbye to the US Open, New York and his career on Wednesday in an emotional Flushing Meadows fourth-round defeat to Argentina’s Juan Martin Del Potro.

The 30-year-old, the last American man to win a Grand Slam title when he won the US Open in 2003, had already said this would be the last tournament of a 12-year career which yielded 32 trophies.

It also brought him the world number one spot, as well as three heart-breaking Wimbledon runner-up finishes, before his prospects at a permanent place at the top table were swept away by Roger Federer, Rafaal Nadal and Novak Djokovic.

“I’ve loved every minute of it – for the first time in my career I’m not sure what to say,” said Roddick, who was in tears as was wife Brooklyn in the stands while he addressed the crowd after his 6-7 (7/1), 7-6 (7/4), 6-2, 6-4 loss.

“I appreciate your support along the way. I know I certainly haven’t made it easy for you at times. The one thing I’m not scared of about retirement are the people that I go home to,” he said.

Roddick’s farewell on the Arthur Ashe Stadium drew an instant response on Twitter.

“I shed a tear for you. Thank you for all the years of commitment to excellence. Going to miss it,” tweeted golf superstar Tiger Woods.

Three-time women’s champion Serena Williams tweeted: “@andyroddick I miss my friend already.”

Seventh-seeded Del Potro, the champion in 2009, booked a Thursday quarter-final date with defending champion Novak Djokovic, the Serbian second seed who advanced 6-4, 6-1, 3-1 when Swiss 18th seed Stanislas Wawrinka retired.

Djokovic reached his 14th successive Grand Slam quarter-final in a match held over from Tuesday because of rain with the world number two ahead 2-0 in the first set.

Wawrinka had already complained of feeling unwell at the end of the third game of the third set before he called it quits.

“It was a difficult situation for both of us with the rain yesterday. We were here for 10 or 11 hours, warmed-up and then stopped. It was hard to get ready for a match that way,” said Djokovic, the 25-year-old Australian Open champion.

Djokovic has reached his sixth successive US Open quarter-final by dropping just 20 games in four rounds.

“I’m happy with my performances. I played well against a quality opponent and I wish him a quick recovery,” added the Serb, who played his match in front of just a few hundred fans on the 10,000-capacity Louis Armstrong Stadium.

Wawrinka, who was bidding to reach the quarter-finals for the second time, having made the last eight in 2010, has now lost 19 matches in a row against top-10 players.

Djokovic’s fellow Serb, eighth seed Janko Tipsarevic, fresh from a Twitter stir where he reignited the equal prize money row, reached his second successive US Open quarter-final.

Tipsarevic brushed past German 19th seed Philipp Kohlschreiber 6-3, 7-6 (7/5), 6-2 and goes on to face Spanish fourth seed David Ferrer for a place in the semi-finals.

Just days after criticising the entertainment value of women’s tennis, and questioning why the likes of Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams didn’t play five sets, Tipsarevic played in front of just a smattering of fans on the Grandstand.

The 28-year-old, who led 5-2 in the first set overnight before his fourth-round match also fell victim to the heavy New York rain, enjoyed his best Grand Slam performance at the US Open in 2011 when he reached the last eight.

But a knee injury forced him to retire in the fourth set against Djokovic.

Kohlschreiber, whose previous match against John Isner ended at a record-equalling late finish of 2:26 a.m. on Monday morning, committed 53 unforced errors.

Tipsarevic won the last time he met Ferrer at the Beijing Olympics in 2008.

“He is definitely a bulldog, I will tell you that. He runs down balls which maybe only Rafa can make from all the guys on tour,” said the Serb.

On a bumper day of action, top seed Federer was taking on Czech sixth seed Tomas Berdych for a place in the semi-finals.

Federer, bidding to become the first six-time champion in 87 years and make a ninth straight semi-final in New York, will meet either British third seed Andy Murray or Marin Cilic, the 12th-seeded Croat, for a place in the final.

Leon Ray Williams is both singer and actor. He was born in Singapore but now his activities is in Taiwan. Anyone who used to watch Taiwan drama (with the same type of Chinese drama, usually appearances of strong flying guys with long-hair in traditional costumes…) should know him very well. Is he really Asian? The answer is No. He is mix of English, German, Japanese and Chinese descent. But his face, I think 90% of Asian. So he is here…

Two things I am very impressed in this gentlemen is his eyes and his lips. Only with his eyes, he could show many type of emotions in picture: sadness, happiness, desire…(btw, that is his job, isn’t it?) Is this him anymore? Ops, he’s not… This guy’s absolutely another guy. Hua Vi Van – a Vietnamese model turning to a singer (and even he acted in Vietnamese TV shows). I found that his face and Leon’s are really “look alike”…But I think Hua’s got a “more attractive” smile…

Back to July, 2009 when Men’s Health Korea contest held, contestant No.9 – Jay (Korean name must be Bak Jea Min) – had a very impressive performance in this competition. Even though he didn’t win the highest award (became the Men’s Health face of 2009) but Jay (at least) created his unforgettable impression with strong wide beautiful shoulder, perfect chest, and a manly face. After this contest, it seems Jay stopped his modeling ambition (not very much information of him in Korea) but he is a potential rapper. And this post is all photos of him in Cool Guy 2009. eron Lontoc Jr. (a campus hunk at DLSU-COSB) is not a newbie in the modelling scene. If his memory serves him right, he started modelling when he was ten and from there modelling opportunities knocked at his door but it was only in the last two years where he seriously look at the modelling business with a hawk’s eyes.

I presumed that was the time when he joined Mossimo Bikini Open Summit and had a brush with fame and glamour. That was also the time he experience that gnawing feeling inside as he fought two contrasting feeling tones: one is maintaining good relationships with his co candidates … and the other one is “maintaining grace under pressure” as he tried to move heaven and earth and become the “last man standing ” before the night was over.
As the cliche goes, when the smoke was cleared … the winners were announced … reality sets in … and the rest was history. And to continue his quest on becoming a “commercial model” that he wanted to be he signed at Mercator Modelling Agency under Jonas Gaffud where he is regarded as one of the TOP THREE – and that includes Geron Lontoc, Mikael Daez and Henrique Soriano. Watch out for the three in the nearest ramp near you.
