French and Japanese Actor – Dean Cain

A mixture of Welsh, French and Japanese, Dean Cain was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Cain’s parents divorced before he was born and while still a baby, his mother moved with him and his older brother to California and re-married. He grew up playing on the beautiful Malibu beaches and later excelled at sports like football, basketball, volleyball and wrestling.

While it seemed there was no athletic activity he couldn’t conquer, it was on the football field that Cain had hoped to make a name for himself. After graduating from Santa Monica High School in 1984, he was offered 17 athletic scholarships, all of which he turned down in favor of Princeton University.

At the ivy league school, he majored in history, captained the volleyball team, and of course, excelled as a free safety on the football team. After graduating in 1988, Cain joined the NFL’s Buffalo Bills as a free agent. Unfortunately, a severe knee-injury in training camp forced the end of his pro career literally before it began.

With hopes of a career in the NFL dashed, Cain returned home to California and began work on another passion: writing. Ironically, Cain only turned to acting as a means to supplement his income while riding out a less than lucrative period in his young screenwriting career. But by 1992, the 35 commercials he had done led to guest appearances on shows like Grapevine, A Different World, and most notably, Beverly Hills 90210. The following year would bring an even bigger break when Cain was cast as Clark Kent/Superman in a pilot for a show called Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1993-1997).

The show, a 90’s update to the classic comic book story, also gave Cain a chance to showcase his writing talents with two episodes, “Seasons Greedings” and “Virtually Destroyed”.

As if acting and writing weren’t enough, Cain has even taken a page from his stepfather’s book by going behind the camera. Cain recently directed three well received country music videos, “Papa Bear” by Keith Harling, “You’ll Never Know” and “The Other Side Of This Kiss” by Mindy McCready to whom he is married.

Cain has a development deal with Columbia TriStar TV and formed his own production company, Angry Dragon Entertainment, with partner Mike Carr. The company’s first series, a revamped version of Ripley’s Believe it or Not! which Cain also hosts, premiered on the TBS Superstation in January 1999 to record-breaking ratings.

Model Turned Actor – Dino Morea

Model-turned-actor, 6’0″ tall, Dino Morea was born on December 9, 1975.

Born to an Italian father and Indian mother, Morea finished his schooling from Bangalore Army School, Clarence School, Bangalore and college from St Joseph’s, Bangalore.

Prasad Bidappa introduced him to modeling. His die-hard looks and cute smile are still a hot assets on the ramp. Morea has also been featured in several bollywood music videos including ‘Alisha’ and ‘Abhijeet’.

An unsuccessful debut as an actor in Pyar Mein Kabhi Kabhi has not noticeably diminished Morea’s popularity. Then Raaz in 2002 came opposite Bipasha Basu which was a romantic thriller. The movie was a hit.

“The first 11 years of my life were spent in Italy. Then I came back and a couple of years ago came second at the Gladrags Manhunt.

Since then I have done a lot of ramp work, several commercials (including Close-Up and the sizzling Live In jeans) and Alisha Chinai’s, ‘Vah Vah’ video.”

“I am most comfortable in my boxers. As for these six-pack abs I got them by working out for a couple of hours everyday and playing basketball once in a while.

I have had to get a haircut since long hair, though great looking, wouldn’t have got me too many jobs. I remember, as a kid I wanted to be Tarzan, or a racing car driver. And my first film is already released. How things change…!”

What the future holds?
“There was an offer for a film but I turned it down because it wasn’t the lead. No plans of quitting fashion, however. I gotta make my money, don’t I?

Later on in life I would love to open a chain of restaurants like MacDonalds but with a rotating menu.”

Fashion?
“I love to wear Armani, Hugo Boss, Rohit Bal and Ravi Bajaj. Colognes are Versus by Versace, Kitone and Polo Sport.”

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California on May 19, 1980, Drew Fuller was discovered by an agent when he was 12 years old after a family friend put him on the cover of UCLA magazine.

After deciding to wait a few years, Fuller entered the modeling world at age 16 and quickly became a top model for such prestigious companies as Tommy Hilfiger, Prada and Club Med. His good looks helped him make the transition to commercials easily and he booked numerous commercials including J. Crew, Subway and Toyota and Pepsi opposite Britney Spears.

Fuller plays Chris Perry in season 6 of Charmed. In the series, Chris is the second son of Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Leo (Brian Krause) and engages in time travel to support his family in a time period before his birth which is critical to his brother’s well-being.

Fuller can also be seen playing real-life criminal Rod Farrell in Vampire Clan. He plays the drug-crazed killer who claimed he was a vampire and brutally murdered an innocent family in Florida in 1996. His next film, The One, just won the audience award at The Sundance Film Festival. Other film credits include Angels Don’t Sleep Here and Close Call.

In his spare time, Fuller enjoys playing basketball, surfing, rock climbing, snowboarding and tennis. Daniel Wu (Chinese: pinyin: Wu Yanzu), born September 30, 1974 in San Francisco, California, is a Hong Kong film actor.

Raised in Orinda, California, he attended the Head Royce School in Oakland, California and the University of Oregon.

Since his youth he was an avid practicioner of the Chinese Martial Arts, also known as Wushu, he founded and served as the head coach for the University of Oregon Wushu Club in January 1994.

Upon graduation with a BA in Architecture, he moved to Hong Kong in 1997, where he began his modeling and acting career. He also currently has a girlfriend called Lisa.S, who is a model in Hong Kong.

He has won a Golden Horse Award in 2005 for Best Supporting Actor in New Police Story.

American Actor – Danny Nucci

Danny Nucci, born September 15, 1968 in Klagenfurt, Austria, is an American actor who is best known for playing characters during three different 1990s blockbuster action films: Eraser, The Rock, and Titanic.

He is also known for his roles as Gabriel Ortega on the CBS soap opera Falcon Crest from 1988 to 1989; as Vincent Sforza, alongside Marguerite Moreau, in Firestarter 2: Rekindled; Some of My Best Friends as Frankie Zito; and as Petty Officer Danny Rivetti just to name a few.

Nucci was born the second child to Sephardic Jewish parents from Italy and Morroco. He was raised just outside of Venice, Italy until the age of seven, when his family relocated to the United States. After temporarily living in Queens, New York, the family settled in California’s San Fernando Valley, where Nucci graduated from Grant High School.

Prior to becoming an actor, he worked as a valet parking attendant for celebrity affairs, including Elizabeth Taylor.

Devon Edward Sawa, born September 7, 1978 in in Vancouver, British Columbia, is a Canadian actor. He was born to a Polish father and a Canadian mother.

Sawa was a very successful teen star during the 1990s. His most famous film credits have been Casper, Idle Hands, and the 2000 thriller, Final Destination.
