Juan Carlos Garcia, born January 4, in Caracas, is a Venezuelan model turned actor.

Garcia was discovered when he accompanied his girlfriend to a commercial television casting.

Garcia completed his primary education at San Ignacio Secondary school and in the Villanueva School, where he obtained his bachelor degree. Soon, he started to study Mechanical Engineering at Metropolitan University but only two years later decided to switch to Civil Engineering in the University of Santa Maria.

Garcia was discovered when accompanied his fiancèe to a TV commercial casting call. One of the agencies proposed to him that he also try out modeling. Juan Carlos was hesitant and not convinced but he decided to give it a shot. In the beginning, he did not have much luck but his determination paid off. Soon after he landed his first commercial and his face became recognizable in Venezuela instantly and his modeling career began. Among his modeling jobs were for big designers such as Tommy Hilfieger, Christian Dior, Giovanni Scutaro and Vielmans, among others. He also became the masculine figure of Vista in commercials in theatre and television around the world.

After much success in modeling, Garcia gave acting a try. He landed his first TV role in the 1998 soap opera “Jugando a ganar”. His acting received great reviews and many TV roles soon followed: “Ciudad bendita” as Junior Mercado; “Amor las vuelve locas, El” and “Besos robados” as Profesor Alejandro Pomar, to mention a few.

Garcia loves the beach, dancing (he can do “All kind of moves”), and loves to ride his bike.

Jonathan “Jon” Bernthal, born September 20, 1977 in Washington, D.C. , is an American actor, best known for his role as Duncan Carmello in the NBC comedy series, “The Class.”

Bernthal was raised in Washington, D.C. He studied at The School of Moscow Art Theatre, in Moscow, Russia, where he also played professional baseball in the European professional baseball federation.

While in Moscow, Bernthal was noticed by the director of Harvard University’s Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at the American Repertory Theatre and was invited to obtain his M.F.A there.

Since graduating in 2002, Bernthal has performed in over 30 plays regionally and off-Broadway, including many with his own award-winning theatre company Fovea Floods.

Bernthal had appeared in numerous popular TV series such as “Boston Legal”, “Without a Trace,” “Boston Legan and CBS sitcom “The Class” as Duncan Carmello. In addition, he had starred in “World Trade Center” (2006), “The Air I Breathe” 2007 and recently “Day Zero” (2007), opposite Elijah Wood, that revolves around three best friends who are drafted and when they are called to serve, what would they do?

Bernthal is also scheduled to play Donnie Pitron, in the comedy movie “Bar Starz.” He currently lives in Venice, California with his dog, Boss.

Juan Alfonso Baptista, born September 9, 1976 in Caracas, is a Venezuelan actor best known for his roles in “Pasión de Gavilanes” and “La Mujer En El Espejo”.

Baptista’s interest in acting came after soccer. He was a member of the Venezuelan National Selection of Soccer since 13 years of age (minor leagues).

Baptista attended elementary school at Colegio Santo Tomás de Villanueva and his high school at Instituto Escuela Chaves. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Odontology from Universidad Santa María and a degree in Advertising from Instituto Nuevas Profesiones.

Jonathon Trent, born June 5, 1984, in Los Angeles, California, is an American actor, best known for his role as Joey in the Allan Brocka gay film, “Boy Culture.”

Trent’s first acting role came in 2004 as Flynn in the movie, “Delusion.” He followed that up with lead roles in the movies Screech, Miracle Dogs, Love Is the Drug, Pray for Morning and Boy Culture, among others.

In 2006, Trent landed his first television role as Kyle in the American teen drama, “The O.C.” . Not long after, he guest-starred in various television series such as “Dirt”, “Cold Case”, and “Cane”, just to name a few.

American Actor – Joey Kern

Joey Kern, born September 5, 1976 in Kentucky, is an American actor, most widely known for his roles in the 2003 films Cabin Fever and Grind.

Kern was raised in Northern Kentucky in the towns of Florence, Kentucky and Independence, Kentucky. He graduated from St. Xavier High School and studied at New York University, earning his BFA in drama. While at NYU he studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.

Kern started acting on stage with various companies such as Atlantic Theater Company, New Group Theater and Theatre for a New Audience, where he played the title role of Troilus in Shakespeare’s Troilus and Cressida directed by Sir Peter Hall.

His feature film debut came in 1999 with the film Die Jungfrau (The Virgin), an Austrian film that cast Kern out of New York City. He had a guest appearance on the HBO series Sex and the City followed by a memorable role in the Broken Lizards 2001 movie Super Troopers as one of the stoners. He had a few more roles in some indie films but his career really took off in 2002 with the movie Cabin Fever and then in 2003 when Grind was released.

Kern currently has 5 movies in post-production, including The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang, All the Days Before Tomorrow, and One Part Sugar.

American Actor and Model – Jordan Matthews

Jordan Matthews, born September 19, 1984 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is an American actor and model.

Matthews knew from an early age that he was destined to perform. At a young age he was discovered in a local play, catching the eye of Tom Oppenheim, grandson of the late Stella Adler. While there, he was scouted for modeling and signed with Avenue Model Management.

Matthews moved to Los Angeles in late 2006 and quickly caught the eye of a producer who offered him a role in the intense action thriller “Killing Thunder,” as well as leading in “Fading of the Cries,” a thriller by writer/director Brian Metcalf. He was then offered numerous contracts for representation and, in turn, signed with Torque Entertainment. Shortly afterwards, both The Hollywood Reporter and the LA Times dubbed him the “Hollywood’s Next ‘It Boy’.”

Additionally, Matthews is continuing with his successful modeling career — now paired with New York celebrity photographer Karl Simone. He began modeling after being pursued by elite modeling agency Avenue Model Management while visiting New York. Since than, he has been pursued by Abercrombie & Fitch, Armani Exchange, Jean Paul Gautier, and Moschino.

Matthews has admitted that modeling was never his passion. “I thought it would be a good segue into acting and I also love to travel,” he explains. “I’m always in the gym or at the beach so I’m more of a bathing suit kinda guy.” Though I do enjoy dressing up for movie premieres.”

Of note, Matthews’ pursuing future films and has established his own production company, Foresight Media Group, Inc. — a venture that enables Matthews to create and star in films about which he is truly passionate.

In his spare time, Matthews enjoys spending time with his family and friends and loves to travel. He is also extremely passionate about sports and nutrition and strongly believes in giving back to the community.
