Real Madrid defender – Sergio Ramos

Sergio Ramos, born 30 March 1986 in Camas, Seville, is a Spanish footballer, who usually plays as a defender for Real Madrid.

Ramos is a graduate of the Sevilla FC youth system and is regarded as one of the world’s best defenders. He is known for his runs up and down the right flank, accurate crosses into the box, strong defending, prowess in the air and ability to be a constant threat on goal at set pieces and in open play.

Ramos began his career as a well-regarded right-side defender, a position he was able to keep for the majority of his early career. After two years of experience in La Liga, with Sevilla, he became known for his ability to play competently in any defensive position.

Real Madrid signed Ramos for € 27 million in the summer of 2005 from Sevilla. This transfer made him the third most expensive teenager behind Wayne Rooney. At Real, he was awarded the number 4 shirt.

In 2004, Ramos became one of the key figures in Spain’s Under-21s, playing six international matches and acquiring experience and interest from other clubs. In Salamanca, against China, he played for the senior side at only 19 years of age, making him the youngest player to play for the national team in the last 55 years.

Ok, so yeah… I haven’t exactly formulated a coherent plot for my upcoming ‘Beautiful Stalker’ thriller novel, but I’m getting there. In the meanwhile though, I figure it couldn’t hurt ogling a bit at my current ‘Fantastics’ inspiration in creative writing.

These shots of model Andrew originate from a Fantasticsmag Motel Feature earlier this spring by photographer Billy Winters. I’ve kind of been using the first shot above as my I phone wallpaper for a couple days now, but I love the second shot as well. Way, way back in elementary school, growing up had you asked who do I believe are the most gorgeous athletes on earth, odds are I might’ve answered outright soccer players without giving a second thought.

Fast-forward to 2010 and I think my tastes may have shifted a just smidge, but I still rank soccer players pretty high on my hierarchy. With of course lean… err smooth… light reflecting (or is it emitting?) athletes like the one above further reinforcing my long-held preference. The beautiful game indeed… wish there were more of him.

And indeed what gorgeous duo these two brothers make . Apparently older bro Zac flew to Maui last weekend with younger bro, 18 year-old Dylan Efron, in preparation for (I believe) a Maui film festival. Zac is due to receive a ‘shining star’ young actor award, so of course these boys are there mostly for business.

Doesn’t hurt taking a little time for pleasure in the lead-up to the awards ceremony though … (*takes a moment to soak in gorgeousness displayed above*)… Honestly official business aside, I don’t know how to better put it aside from stating the obvious; the Zacster’s clearly reached an apex of boyishly masculine appeal…

Yes, granted the basketball season’s given way this month in favor of a mass vuvuzela-fueled hysteria currently sweeping the globe, it is still summer here in the states…. And summer means summer activity type stuff (maybe a pick-up game?) taking place outdoors on a gorgeous June day… Preferably with a super hot shirt-deficient protagonist leading the way …

I swear those pillows look remarkably soft… You can almost tell from just the contours and texture… maybe even the lighting as well, I don’t know.

Kind of makes you want to just jump right on in and get comfortable snuggling with a good snuggly thing worthy of being snuggled relentlessly. I think I might’ve had somewhat of a misconception regarding Russians…and perhaps Russia in general. The general image I tend to picture is hard/stern manly man’s men (lol, Ivan Drago/Vladimir Putin anyone?)…

Pageant Candidates- Mr. Lapu-lapu City 2011

In the last decade under head honcho Harley Ruedas, Ginoong Filipinas Cebu used to lord it over the Queen City of the South and the likes of Jeram Lumbab who won Ginoong Filipinas 1994, Mark Katada who became Jeram’s successor and was Ginoong Filipinas 1995, and John Lawrence Aquino who was Ginoong Filipinas Tourism 1995 and Israel Geraldo who was Ginoong Filipinas Luzon 1996, gave Harley Ruedas an unprecedented golden years … and that gave him also a monicker- the pageant organizer with a golden touch. In the span of three years Harley was grinning wide and was very proud of their achievements.
When Harley slowed down, there was a lull in Cebu’s pageantopolis … and the general malaise was felt, and their absence in the national contest was sorely missed. Manila, Pangasinan, Pampanga and Nueva Ecija didn’t have any competetion anymore; although that assure them of an easy win, their victories were not as sweet as when there was “pukpokan” on and off the stage as witness in the previous years.
Then suddenly, Cebu bounce back … although they dont have to go to Manila, they manage to organize a local contest that has all the trimmings and prestige of winning a national title … and I am referring to Mr. Cebu. We have been following the pageant, and basing from the candidates it has attracted, the pageants production values, the media coverage, their official website that can make Mr. World Philippines, Manhunt Philippines and Mr. International Philippines blush with envy … Cebu is definitely in the winning spree.
And now … there’s Mr. Lapulapu City being launched, and again basing from the candidates “face value” the pageant is indeed a perfect foil to the fire and magic of Mr. Cebu. And to the organizers of Mr. Lapulapu … guys we are watching! Good Luck!
