Canadian Actor – Ryan Gosling

Ryan Gosling (AKA Ryan Thomas Gosling) was born November 12, 1980 in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada.

Ryan Gosling is a movie star and former Mouseketeer, best known for arty roles in films such as The Notebook, The United States of Leland, and The Believer.

As a scrawny young boy, he was yanked out of school by his parents and homeschooled after being repeatedly harassed by classmates. When he returned to school as an older boy, several of his teachers, according to Gosling, incorrectly mistook his natural squint for evidence he was a pot-head.
Mickey Mouse Club. He worked with fellow Mouseketeers Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and others for two years.

While working for Disney, he also made Frankenstein and Me, a kiddy-fied horror film for TV starring Burt Reynolds. Gosling then had a short-lived UPN comedy called Breaker High, and played the titular Young Hercules in an adolescent version of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.

His first notable movie role was as the neo-Nazi skinhead who reads the Torah and teaches Hebrew in The Believer. Gosling is best known as a blue collar boy named Noah in The Notebook who falls in love with a wealthy debutante named Allie (Rachel McAdams).

Gosling is an animal rights activist, and once wrote a letter to Kentucky Fried Chicken headquarters, protesting their inhumane treatment of chickens. A gosling, of course, is a young goose.

Zanjoe Marudo – Model/ Actor, “Pinoy Big Brother “

Zanjoe Marudo, born in Tanauan, Batangas, is a Filipino Cover Boy, fashion model, singer and actor. He is best known as a housemate of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition.

He came from a middle income family from the Philippines. His dad is a chef in New Jersey and his mom is a housewife and lives in the Philippines.

He is the third born of a family of 6.During his secondary education, he was a member of his school’s basketball varsity team. He revealed basketball paid for his tuition fee. He also excels in badminton and wake boarding.

Marudo became a model after high school to earn money and became a hunk of the month in the Philippine Cosmopolitan Magazine. He was also voted the Philippine Cosmo Magazine’s Top 10 Bachelors and Metro Calendar 2006. His other modeling stint is appearing in the Bench Fever fashion show.

Yasir Shah – Actor/ Model, “Dil Hi Mien”

Yasir Shah, born in 1983, in Pakistan, is a Pakistani model and actor.

Shah began his career at the age of 17 when he first modeled for “HangTen” a causal wear brand. He was spotted by a photographer in a Styling Salon. He was lucky to have been discovered. He never even had to work on a portfolio. His first photoshoot was enough to get him a second job with HangTen. His talent as a model shined on his very first photo shoot.

After working with HangTen for 3 years, Shah was able to really spread his wings in the world of fashion. He moved to Dubai where he modeled in Dubai fashion week for many top designers in Dubai as well as some foreign designers such as Channel and Dior. After 2 years, Yasir moved back to Pakistan and tried to pursue a career in acting.

Shah was not ready for acting and gave up after getting a very small role in a TV series called “Chalti Hawa” (Wind). Modeling had much more in store for him, with his experience in modeling in Dubai, he got jobs very easily.

He was able to bag jobs with top designers such as “HSY”, “Karma”, “Nilopher Shahid”, and “Sonya Batla”.Working with Pakistani designer Deepak Perwani also allowed Yasir Shah to go to New York for New York Fashion week where he was able to get jobs for “American Eagle” and “Express”.

Yasir tried his hands at acting once again and this time the world of television was ready for him. He bagged a role on a Television Soap called “Dil se Dil” (Heart to heart ) in which he played the younger son of a very rich couple who gets into trouble with the ladies a lot. Yasir also starred in other soaps such as “Girah” (Knot) “Ghar Gharonda” (House and Family) and “Dil Hi Mien” (In the heart).

Zach Roerig – Actor/ Model, “As the World Turns”

Zach Roerig, born February 22, 1986 in Montpelier, Ohio, is an American actor and model.

Roerig currently stars as Casey Hughes on the television soap opera As the World Turns.Roerig has also been seen in the television crime drama Law & Order.

Starting his career at Barbizon of Cleveland and Stone Model and Talent, Roerig attended the IMTA convention where he met his current manager, Thomas Harding Jones. He plays “Joe” in the upcoming feature film Tie a Yellow Ribbon.

Roerig attended Montpelier High school where he played both football and was also a wrestler. When he was growing up, he worked for his dad and grandpa at Fackler Monuments where they make plaques and gravestones.

Borgy Manotoc – Filipino Male Model/ Actor, “Bench”

Borgy Manotoc was born on April 9, 1983, in Honolulu. He is the grandson of the late Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos and son of re-elected Ilocos Norte representative Imee Marcos.

His father, sportsman Tommy Manotoc, gave him the moniker Borgy, after the tennis iconBjorn Borg. Manotoc has vague recollections of his childhood.

The edsa Revolution, which deposed Marcos and sent the First Family into exile, is history to him. His earliest memory of childhood was studying in London.

From his school in East Harlem, an unglamorous part of New York, he meets her in midtown. “I couldn’t even go to this place she was taking me because I didn’t have a suit,” he says. “That’s not my everyday kind of thing. But I get to see the whole social hierarchy.”

Christian Louis Cooke, born September 15, 1986 in Leeds, West Yorkshire, is an English actor, known for playing Luke Kirkwall in Where the Heart Is, Luke Rutherford in “Demons” and Dorian Gaudain in “Trinity”.

Cooke he attended St Mary’s School, Menston, and Bingley Arts Centre.Cooke began his acting career at the age of 10 when he appeared in a production of Bedazzled at the Bingley Arts Centre.

His first television appearance was in a commercialfor “Birds Eye” beef burgers.Cooke played the role of Luke Kirkwall from 2000 to 2006 in the ITV drama “Where the Heart Is”.
