A critic once wrote that Brad Pitt combined “the matinee idol looks of Gary Cooper with the sex symbol loveliness of Marilyn Monroe”. It’s a line that sums up Pitt’s pin-up appeal, but would certainly annoy the pants off Pitt himself. After all, he’s spent years trying to explode a reputation as a Himbo, taking on a series of lead roles and cameos that should really have proven to the world that he is in fact a very fine actor indeed.

He’s played a dazed and confused pot-head, a near-incomprehensible streetfighting traveller, an IRA terrorist, a reluctant vampire, a Nazi mountain-climber, a psycho on the run, a mental patient dedicated to the destruction of world order, AND he dared to act wholly unaided, later to be surrounded by cartoons. Dustin Hoffman was certainly correct when he said “Next to that kid, we all look like onions”, but surely, SURELY he has earned our respect by now.

He was born William Bradley Pitt on the 18th of December, 1963, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and remains a mid-Westerner to the core. He was raised, alongside brother Doug and sister Julie, in Springfield, Missouri. His father, Bill, managed a trucking firm, working six days a week for 36 years – something of which Brad is very proud. His mother, Jane, was a High School counselor, but his mind-set was influenced more by his dad. “Where I grew up,” he once said “you deal. You get through it, power through it, straight up the middle. And you don’t complain”. It’s an attitude that’s served him well as he’s battled the improbable pressures of stardom.

Due to Bill’s success, the Pitts never really wanted for anything, and Brad in particular used this as a springboard to try everything. A decent fellow, he was brought up as a Baptist, singing in the church choir. He loved movies, later recalling a fine day spent at an Ape-athon, watching all five Planet Of The Apes films, back-to-back. At Kickapoo High School he was involved in everything. He was a member of the golf, tennis and swimming teams, as well as the Key and Forensics clubs. He was into debating, school government and school musicals.

Ben Foster, born October 29, 1980, in Boston, Massachusetts, is an American actor. He is best known for playing the role of Angel in the movie X-Men: The Last Stand.

Foster was born to a Jewish American family; he has a younger brother, Jon, who has also become an actor.

At the age of 16, Foster dropped out of high school and moved to Los Angeles. In 1996, he appeared in the television series Flash Forward. In the following years, Foster was predominately cast in guest roles on various television shows.

In 2001, Foster acted his first big screen role in Get Over It. He also had a recurring role as Russell Corwin (22 episodes) in the HBO Original Series, Six Feet Under.

After he made 11:14 and The Punisher, Foster acted his first leading role in Hostage at the side of Bruce Willis, Kevin Pollak and Michelle Horn.

Brent Weber, born July 16, 1980 in Mauriceville, Texas, is an actor and model.

Weber was discovered for modeling when he brought his little sister to an open call. He began his career modeling at the age of 16 and quickly began to book jobs with renowned photographers like Herb Ritts and Bruce Weber.

After a few years of traveling as a model, he set his sites on acting and moved from Texas to Los Angeles. Soon after arriving in Los Angeles, Weber was cast in the primetime series Point Pleasant. Following the run of that show, he was cast in the leading role in the motion picture Outlaw Trail. Bernie Paz, born July 5, 1967, in Lima, Peru, is a Peruvian actor.

Unlike most actors, Paz didn’t long to be a star. He wished to be a successful diplomat and even studied Hebrew and political sciences in Israel , between 1988 and 1994. He was planning to make a post-degree in United States but destiny had set him to be famous.

Paz had the chance to appear on TV Commercials, and after a few of them, he made his acting debut in 2000 on the Peruvian soap opera “Amor serrano.” He liked that experience very much and decided to pursue acting as a career. A few years later, he had a small part on the soap-opera “Angel Rebelde” co-produced by Univision to be transmitted in USA. Benjamin “Ben” Barnes, born August 20, 1981, in London, England, is an English actor, best known for his role as King Caspian in the movie “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.”

Barnes is an alumnus of King’s College School, where he was a contemporary of film actor Khalid Abdalla and comedian Tom Basden. He studied Drama and English literature at Kingston University, London.

Prior to his acting career, Barnes was a backup singer in the boyband “Hyrise,” who were in the running to represent the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest 2004.

Barnes began working in television in 2006, starring in the television series Doctors and Split Decision.

In 2007, Barnes made his film debut in the film Stardust, portraying Young Dunstan Thorn. In the same year, he landed his big break when he bagged the role of Caspian in the film adaption of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, directed by Andrew Adamson. He is also set to reprise his role (this time as King Caspian) in the third film in the Narnia series, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, with a release date of May 2010.

Barnes later starred in Suzie Halewood’s Bigga Than Ben, which will be released in August 2008.

In 2009, Barnes will play John Whittaker in Easy Virtue. Barnes also has signed on for the latest version of Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray directed by Oliver Parker and due for a 2009 release.

Benjamin McKenzie, born September 12, 1978, in Austin, Texas, USA, is an American actor known for playing Ryan Atwood on the hit television series “The O.C.”

McKenzie attended Austin High School, and played wide receiver and defensive back for the school’s football team. From 1997-2001, he attended the University of Virginia, where he majored in Foreign Affairs and Economics.
