American Actor – Sean Kanan

Sean Kanan, born in Cleveland, Ohio, is an American actor.

Kanan attended Mercersburg Academy in Pennsylvania before attending Boston University and UCLA. He started on soap operas playing the role of Alan “A.J.” Quartermaine Jr. on the ABC soap General Hospital in January 1993. In August 1999, he was offered the role of Jude Cavanaugh on NBC’s Sunset Beach until the show was cancelled on New Year’s Eve of that year.

Kanan joined the cast as Deacon Sharpe on The Bold and the Beautiful from November 2000 until his final appearance in February 2005.

Kanan is perhaps best known for his portrayal of “Karate’s bad boy” and “tournament terror”, Mike Barnes, in The Karate Kid, Part III.

Kanan also currently appears as a judge on the “MTV’s Little Talent Show”.

Kanan lives in Italy where he is currently a contestant on the TV show Ballando con le stelle, the Italian version of Dancing with the Stars.

American Actor Of Jewish Heritage – Scott Mechlowicz

Scott Mechlowicz, born January 17, 1981 in New York City, New York, is an American actor of Jewish heritage, best known for his lead performances in the comedy “EuroTrip” and the dramas “Mean Creek” and “Peaceful Warrior.”

Mechlowicz grew up in Texas, where he graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1999 and attended the University of Texas at Austin for one semester. Mechlowicz subsequently moved to Los Angeles, California, where he studied at UCLA and graduated in 2003, with honors, from the Conservatory Acting Programs.

After appearing in a 2003 short film, Neverland, Mechlowicz made his film debut in the raunchy teen comedy, Eurotrip, which opened on February 20, 2004 and received mixed reviews. The same year, he also starred in the independent film, Mean Creek, which was filmed in 2003 but not given a limited theatrical release until August 20, 2004. In the film, which was a dark teenage drama, Mechlowicz played the oldest of a group of teenagers. The film received a positive critical reception.

Mechlowicz also received and Independent Spirit Award for his acting in Mean Creek. In 2005, Mechlowicz made a guest appearance in an episode of the television series House.

Mechlowicz’ most recent role was in the drama Peaceful Warrior (based on the book Way of the Peaceful Warrior), in which he plays the lead role of Dan Millman, an athlete based on the book’s author. His next film was Gone, a thriller, filmed in 2005 and released in 2007.

Seann William Scott was born in the small town of Cottage Grove, Minnesota on October 3rd, 1977. He attended Park High School, where he was voted most friendly by his classmates and was also homecoming king. He played sports and was a running back for the football team.

In 1995, he graduated early and decided to head out to California to pursue his love of films. Once he reached Los Angeles, he auditioned for various parts. He tried out for Baywatch, among other things, but wasn’t cast. Scott had an accent when he moved from his home to California. Sometimes that prevented him from getting jobs, but he worked on improving the way he spoke.

In between acting gigs (after he even filmed American Pie), he worked as a gym trainer; worked as a host at the California Pizza Kitchen; fixed toilets at a law firm; worked at the L.A. Zoo, and worked in the plumbing department at the Home Depot. In time, he landed a role in the television series Sweet Valley High. Soon other roles followed. He played a football player in the “Hole in My Soul” video by the rock group, Aerosmith; a surfer in the comedy series, Unhappily Ever After; a Sunny Delight commercial; and also was in Something So Right. He was also featured in the tv movie Born into Exile.

Then he auditioned for American Pie. The Weitz brothers, who directed and produced the movie, saw a talent. They let Seann even give ideas on how to character should be. Scott has been quoted as saying “I didn’t want to be the guy you loved to hate. That was too easy. I wanted him to be the guy you hated to love.” He wasn’t even sure that the acting thing would pan out, but then he landed the role in Final Destination which changed his opinion of his future in the movie business. Other acting parts came in such works as the short film Switch. He has been in the movies Road Trip, Dude Where’s My Car?; Evolution; American Pie 2; Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back; Bulletproof Monk and American Wedding.

Simon Rex Cutright, born July 20, 1974 in San Francisco, California is a Jewish American actor and model.

Rex began his career by masturbating in a series of adult films oriented towards gay men.

He was hired as an MTV VJ but was subsequently let go when his adult past was revealed.

He began to pursue legitimate acting and was cast in a television show called Jack & Jill in 1999. The show was critically panned and cancelled after two seasons. He had a brief stint as “Eli” in the T.V. show Felicity. A string of television guest appearances followed (including Baywatch), as well as cameos in various films.

American actor and model – Steven Strait

Steven Strait, born in New York City, New York in 1986, is an American actor and model. He grew up in the Greenwich Village section of Manhattan and attended school there as a child.

Steven has always been interested in the entertainment industry and began taking acting lessons at the age of eleven. In the sixth grade, he began to take performing classes at the Village Community School. Although he was forced into it at first, after he performed live for the first time, he really began to enjoy it. Some of the acting schools included the Stella Adler Acting Studio and the Black Nexus Acting Studio in NYC.

He has always been a good-looking kid. He began to do modeling as a teenager and was able to finance his private school tuition with his modeling gigs. He first began modeling at thirteen (and even had an agent). However, he was truly “discovered” by John Babin of Boss Models agency a few years later while working out in a gym. He was given Babin’s card with a “call me sometime.” Steven placed the call and his career has begun to soar ever since.

Some of the magazines he has appeared in include L’Uomo Vogue, Spoon Magazine, Details, Surface Magazine and Pop Magazine. He is also highly sought after by top fashion photographers such as Dah Len, Peter Murdoch Ellen von Unwerth, and Bruce Weber. He has also modeled for Harleguin and Hollister advertisement campaigns.

In 2004, after graduating from Xavier High School (in New York City) he moved out to California to pursue a career in show biz. It was not long for him to receive his first role. In fact, he received his first job after his very first audition and in 2005, he debuted in his first movie, Sky High where he plays a bad-boy type (although he is a good guy) teenage superhero named Warren Peace who has the ability to control fire and shoot flames at his enemies.

Coming up very soon is his second movie appearance where he co-stars with Ashlee Simpson (in her movie debut) and Pell James in the movie Undiscovered. The movie is about young people beginning in the entertainment industry who want to become superstars. Steven plays the role of Luke Falcon who want to be a rock n’ roll star.

When not acting, he is also trying to pursue a career in music and is the lead singer for a band called Tribe. This multitalented youngster also writes the lyrics to their songs. Their first album is due to be released in late 2005.
