Nunez had intended to try professional football, but suffered a career-ending injury in his teens. Renewed inspiration came when he was approached by an acting and modeling agent.
Nunez became known to TV audience after auditioning for the “Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency” reality series in 2007 on Oxygen Network. A string of modeling jobs soon followed including big underwear campaigns for “Andrew Christian,” “Rufskin,” “Solis,” and “2 (xist).”
