Chen Yibing, born December 19, 1984 in Tianjin, China, is a Chinese gymnast.

Chen made his international debut in 2005. A year later, he was part of the Chinese team that won the gold medal in the team event at the 2006 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships and the 2006 Asian Games. He also became the 2006 World Champion on the still rings.

Chen was quickly dubbed the “Lord of the rings.” In 2007, despite suffering a minor neck injury from a fall on floor during podium training, Chen recovered to win Gold in both the team finals and the still rings event at the 2007 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Stuttgart.

In 2008, Chen proved that he is the “Lord of the rings” by winning another Gold medal in the Men’s Rings at the 2008 Beijing Olympics as well as Gold for China in men’s team gymnastics.
