American Actor Television Series – Cody Linley

Cody Martin Linley, born November 20, 1989, in Lewisville Texas, is an American actor, perhaps best known for his roles in the 2006 film “Hoot “and his recurring role as Jake Ryan in the television series “Hannah Montana.”

Linley made his acting debut in the 1998 made-for-television film “Still Holding On: The Legend of Cadillac Jack”. Subsequently, he had supporting roles in four films released in 2000: “My Dog Skip,” “Where the Heart Is,” “Walker,” “Texas Ranger,” and “Miss Congeniality.”

In 2003, Linley had a major role in the independent film “When Zachary Beaver Came to Town” and appeared in the movie “Cheaper by the Dozen.”

By the beginning of 2006, Linley’s acting career is quickly gaining momentum with appearances on Disney Channel in seven episodes of “Hannah Montana” as Jake Ryan and in the children’s film “Hoot.” His other credits include “The Haunting Hour: Don’t Think About It,” “Forget Me Not” and in the upcoming “Hannah Montana: The Movie.”

When not acting, Linley spends his time playing guitar, singing and playing basketball with his buddies.
