Actor, Host, Human Weapon Athlete – Jason Chambers
Jason Chambers, born March 23, 1980, in Chicago, Illinois, is an American actor and mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter and is currently co-host of Human Weapon on the History Channel.
Chambers is a Jeet Kune Do Concepts Instructor and is affiliated with 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu.
His interest and love for the arts and feeling a constant need to be the center of attention has led him to pursue acting. His roles in theatre productions such as “Our Town,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “A Midsummer’s night Dream,” ” The Mouse that Roared,” and several others only fueled his passion. “I was bitten by the acting bug at a very young age. I remember my grandmother would scour the newspaper and tote me to local open casting calls,” Chambers recalls.
Chambers went on to study the craft of acting in Chicago at “Act One” studios and improve at the world famous “Second City” – home of many past and present SNL cast members – and with various acting and scene study coaches.
Chambers solidified his decision to become a full time actor by moving to New York, where he quickly landed appearances in established television series such as “Guiding Light”, “All My Children”, “Sex and the City”, “Can You Tell?”, and most frequently on “As the World Turns” as the Java Underground bartender Kyle.
But it was his co-hosting job in the hit History Channel Series “Human Weapon” that really got people’s attention. The show has premiered and has the highest ratings for THC.
