American Actor Showtime’s Television Series – Hunter Parrish

Hunter Parrish, born May 13, 1987 in Richmond, Virginia, is an American actor, best known for playing Silas Botwin in Showtime’s television series “Weeds.”

Parrish graduated from the Texas Tech University Independent School District.

Parrish’s made his acting TV at the young age of 16, starring in a minor role in the CBS’ drama series, “The Guardian.” He has since guest starred in several TV series, including “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “Close To Home,” “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” and “Summerland.” He has also appeared in the films “Sleepover” and “RV.”

In 2005, shortly after moving out to stake his claim in Hollywood, Parrish got offered a career-defining role as Silas Botwin in Showtime’s critically acclaimed comedy series “Weeds.”

Parrish’s most recent role was in the film “Freedom Writers” (2007), in which he played Ben Samuels, the only white student in a California high school class.
