Paolo Rivera and Jeff Luna
Paolo Rivero and Jeff Luna are some of local indie movies’ most sought after actors – with the former boasting a list of really goodlooking men as his partners in his movies, while the latter, is known more for his daring frontals. Anyhow, both finally get a chance to go at each other in this rather slow-moving, placid indie movie called ‘Araro’ where Paolo Rivero plays this farmer who falls in love with the drifter, played by Jeff Luna. Their attraction culminates in a lovemaking scene in the end where I felt pain for both of them since they had to do it on a bamboo floor – ouch! That’s just about it. The movie is plodding and the story is uninteresting, while Paolo’s character is just forever finding ways to get Jeff into the sack – because his character – actually has a wife!! Go figure!
