Discovering Mario Maurer!
God, I should travel more! Since we decreased our yearly travels to some Asian cities, I have been out of the loop for quite sometime as to who’s hot and who’s not, at least, among the so-called gay icons of Asia.
Today, a friend told me about Mario Maurer, who supposedly caused a big splash in Thailand and Asia’s gaydom, when he played a gay role, in a movie which many of my gay friends say, is the best gay film they’ve ever seen – ‘Love of Siam’. I guess the pictures I have here now are a bit dated, because if I compute the age of Mario now, he should be around 20. He was 17 then when the movie became a monster hit and a cult following among Asia’s fairies.
I really should check out the movie too!
